How to rip DVD to avi with ac3 DTS surround audio?

Introduction

In this version, we are combining AC3 and DTS Audio into the in-build encoder. This makes music more smooth and vivid. I hope you enjoy the function. It is very easy to use, just follow the listed steps below.

Step One: Run the #1 DVD Ripper

Insert DVD disc into the drive, run #1 DVD Ripper, and click preview mode. You will see the main screen appear like this:

Click "load DVD from drive"to load DVD from a DVD drive .

Or "load DVD from a folder" button to load DVD from hard disk .

Step Two: Set AC3 or dts Audio Track

Click on button or right-click the mouse to open the DVD menu .

Click Audio tracks to choose AC3 or dts.

Step Three: Set #System Codec(divx,Xvid, etc) avi Profile

Click on button to open the Record settings menu.

Click Profiles to choose #System Codec(Divx, Xvid etc)-avi profile.

Click to open Audio and Video Settings box.

Click Video Encoder to choose Divx or Xvid Codec.

Click Audio Encoder to choose Keep DVD Audio.

Click Encoding Type to set Single pass or Multipass encoder.

To set 1-pass encoding DVD, click to open a box like this:

Select the Rate control mode, and choose 1-pass. Then, click OK

To set a 2-pass encoding dvd,first click to open divx box.

Select the Rate control mode, and choose Multipass, 1st pass .
Then, click OK.
Back to the dvd ripper menu, click to open a dialog box like this:

Select the Rate control mode, and choose Multipass, Nth pass .

When all is set, click OK to confirm.

Step Four: Crop black bar

Click to activate crop function. The screen will look like this:

You can choose No Crop if you like the screen remain the original; Crop Top if you like to crop the top blank bar;Crop Bottom if you like to crop the bottom blank bar; Crop top and Bottom if you like to crop the top and bottom blank bar.

Try to adjust the crop area. Use to choose the default parameters of crop item.
